Cost! Stopping litter at its source reduces clean-up costs! Building the level of pride you have in where you live is critical to personal success in life.
Recognition! Many of our students today are participating in school programs that help to reduce litter or waste. School districts are already recycling paper, water bottles, and pop cans and bottles. The Building Tomorrow's Neighborhoods program is a great way for schools to be recognized for the projects they are already doing!
Character Counts! The Building Tomorrow's Neighborhoods program is endorsed by Character Counts. Preventing litter on your campus and recycling will foster school pride and individual responsibility.
Enrollment Benefits! When you become involved, Keep Iowa Beautiful will supply your school with the following (dependent upon activity and degree of commitment):
