Through the Iowa Income Tax Check-Off program, donated funds provide support to local communities for beautification efforts. This funding is intended to leverage local dollars, support volunteer efforts and local programs, and provide long-term community benefits.
Projects Funded: Litter reduction/prevention, recycling or beautification projects.
Who Can Apply: Public or private, nonprofit organizations.
Award Amount: up to $5,000.
Deadline: December 31, 2007 (must be received by 4:30 p.m.).
Award Announcement: early March.
