Through the generosity of KIB board member, John Schneller, and his wife, Judy, the KIB Law Enforcement Awards were established in 2003 to recognize Iowa enforcement officers who are doing the most outstanding job at litter prevention and illegal dumping abatement through citations or community involvement.

Past Law Enforcement Awards

2003:  Iowa State Patrol Post #4 - Denison and Laverne Payne and Debbie Yerington - City of Muscatine.

2004:  Kary Woolson - Boone County Code Enforcement Officer and Warren Crouch - Parks Superintendent and Sanitation Superintendent at Bellevue.

2005:  Captain Brian gardner - Commander of the Linn Co. Sheriff's Office Patrol Division and Sergeant Michael Ingram - Woodbury County Jail Correction Officer.

2006:  Sheriff Gary Anderson - Appanoose County Sheriff's Office and Police Officer Dennis Evans - City of Clive Police Department.
