Downtown Forums – Community Water Management
June 14 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The Iowa Downtown Resource Center will offer several downtown forums in June to bring community leaders together to network and discuss downtown and community topics.
Attendees will have an opportunity to share their experiences relating to the downtown forum discussion and communicate with other community leaders the exciting things occurring in their commercial districts.
Each forum will focus on a different area of economic development (housing, water management, retail trends and building façade improvements) and will be held in designated “model communities” that have established strategies for success and best practices in these areas.
The second event will be held on Thursday, June 14 / 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. This will take place at The Lake Lounge – 615 Lake Ave, Storm Lake, Iowa
Downtown Forums are FREE to attend. Registration is required.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority’s (IEDA) Downtown Resource Center assists communities around the state in revitalizing their downtowns and commercial districts. Be sure to register for the Iowa Downtown Resource, the state’s downtown revitalization newsletter.
